Personal life

Jeff Parmer who is also nicknamed "JP" is notoriously known for being an honest and humble man. He spends his days training everyday on the court, in the weight room, and watching videos while he is in off-season preparing for the next opportunity knowing that the competition increases every season at every level. When he is not training he enjoys spending time with his girl friend Jessenia Arias exploring different cuisines, new landmarks, and watching comedy shows. He is also very close with his family and loved by many. He looks up to his Uncle Wayne for the inspirational talks of life to take him through. Most of all, his personality and heart is due in part to a woman that has inspired his life, Ms. McGrady also known as "Ms. Honey". Growing up Ms. Honey was his foundation. She taught him how to be caring, humble, loving, and a hard worker. All of   these characteristics she has instilled into him today. You can catch Parmer on any court with a pair of basketball shoes that has Mrs. Honey's name written on it stating how much he loves her as well as his mom, Lisa McGrady. Forever these words will sing into existence, "I love and miss you Ms. Honey!!!"

After basketball Parmer has a variety of ventures he is interested in. Being that he graduated with his bachelor's degree in Social Science (Interdisciplinary Studies) he would like to work in that field. He desires to open up a center composed of many different programs to assist and educate underprivileged and neglected kids, a dream that him and his girl friend have had for a few years. Another business venture is to open a barbershop and invest in a couple companies in the U.S while he continues to play professional basketball overseas.
